Design and planning of lightweight structures
In modern architecture the envelopes of buildings increasingly form a complex unit combining a facade structure with a load-bearing structure. This results in requirements which go beyond classical facade and structural design and planning and can be realised only by creative and specialised structural engineers: in terms of use of materials the structures have to be minimised, individually planned and aesthetically designed.
Lightweight structures of all kinds
At DS-Plan you will find engineers who are capable of meeting these challenges. In close co-operation with architects they design and calculate lightweight wide-spanning steel and aluminium structures, membrane structures, glass facades, cable nets and a variety of special structures. We place special emphasis on design which is appropriate to the materials and of high quality right down to the last detail.
