Because of the growing number of passengers, the operators of  Baden-Airparkdecided to build a modern and cost-effective terminal. DS-Plan accomplished the planning of the whole Building Technologies over the HOAI-Phases (the German Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers) 1 to 3 and 5 to 6. Another engineering company was responsible for the detail planning and the building construction, while DS-Plan was entrusted with the quality controlling. Simulations executed by DS-Plan proved that natural de-smoking of the whole building is possible considering the wind conditions of the Upper Rhein Plain.
