One of the most exceeding projects in the area of Stuttgart 21 is the library of the 21 century which was designed by the Architectural Office Yi Architects (Cologne/Seoul). The glass cube covers the library building with a glass brick façade. The central "heart" is connected via a borrowed light with the funnel-shaped reading room which is optimal supplied with day light via a glass roof. Besides the use of the library of lending books and music media also various events are planned to take place in the library at day time as well as night time when the library is closed for public.
