At the conference players and experts will discuss present trends of the building industry. Peter Tzeschlock, managing director of DS-Plan, will speak about new requirements for service providers and their role as real responsible partners: "You can't get a tailor-made suit off the peg."

Opinions about the current trend in the building sector – an exchange of opinions with experts. A paradigm shift is taking place in the building sector. Today, the focus in the building and real estate business is on fair behaviour and the need to pay greater attention to the tenant (again). Empty buildings are no longer an opportunity. They are simply empty buildings. All participants in the value chain from development, financing, construction and operation of a building must pull together with a strict orientation towards the customer, the property’s later user or tenant. Today, flexibility, quality and individuality in terms of the work performed are more important than ever before. A holistic approach is required. Service providers should be reliable, strategic partners who think in the long term and accept responsibility. Modern concepts must be realised, e.g., the general planning, construction management or general construction management, and supported with modern tools, e.g., Building Information Modelling. The Real Estate Future Forum spotlights this subject and illuminates the paradigm shift in the building and property business. The resulting new demands on the players and best-practice solutions will be presented in expert lectures covering the fields of building financing, project development, consulting, building operation and the associated tools. The congress will also provide a platform for tenants and users, and be an interesting forum for the exchange of opinions with experts from different sectors and fields.
