How to manage the vast amount of revisal documents of major projects? Drees&Sommer Advanced Building Technologies developed a systematic archiving concept for the Neue Messe Stuttgart.
Major projects often entail a large number of folders of necessary revisal documents. Concerning the construction project Neue Messe Stuttgart we speak of about 20.000 folders with information from architect, planers and operating companies. Folder-to-folder the length of the storage racks would amount to almost 2 km. Drees&Sommer Advanced Building Technologies therefore developed an integrated archiving concept for the Neue Messe Stuttgart based on a specific data collection and systematization matrix allowing systematic queries locating not only required folders, but also the contained specific information. So the concept enables a target oriented storage process as well as a purposive retrieval of necessary information.
