Construction works for the major international procet "King Fahad National Library of Riyadh" started recently.
The library is realized by Gerber Architcts International for the Arriyadh Development Authority of Saudi Arabia. DS-Plan contributed building services engineering consulting and the energy strategy for the building. The project features modern energy-saving technologies such as cooling and heating of the building by activating its thermal mass and a layer ventilation - concepts which are unique in this region to date.
